Letter of Introduction

Hello all!

I'm trying this out for the first time -- please let me know what you think, and whether i should go back to my old school pen and paper ways. lol.

since it feels too weird to me to address an anonymous cyberspace audience, I'm going to write each post like it was a letter -- to my family, a friend, someone who left an impression on me, or myself.

if i've sent you this link, it's because you're important to me, have made me laugh or cry, or both, and because i'm curious about what you're up to and what to share my adventures/thoughts/questions with you.
